The European Parliament rejected a motion of censure against the European Commission proposed by the Patriots for Europe group, with 165 votes in favor, 390 against, and 10 abstentions. The motion was against the EU-Mercosur trade agreement. A two-thirds majority of votes cast representing a majority of MEPs was required for adoption.
