Press release – Phasing-out imports of Russian gas in the EU: deal with Council

The European Parliament, in cooperation with the Council, has agreed to ban imports of Russian natural gas and is preparing to ban oil imports by 2027 to protect the EU from Russian energy supply weaponization.
