MEPs from the Foreign Affairs, Development Committees, and the Human Rights Subcommittee met with Andrzej Poczobut, 2025 Sakharov Prize laureate, known for criticizing the Lukashenka regime in Belarus. Poczobut, released from prison in April 2026, addressed Parliament on human rights issues. The exchange was webstreamed and enhanced cooperation with Belarus.
